| When trying to describe Webb Dalton’s style of music, one needs understand a couple of things. Webb was born in Montgomery , Alabama on the sounds of country greats Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Hank Williams and the southern rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd. At a young age, Webb moved to Memphis , TN. and was influenced by the music of Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis, Charlie Rich and the Blues of B. B. King. With this background, his musical style has been labeled, “Rockabilly-Honky Tonkin-Rock n Roll”. This is probably why he has been very blessed in several areas of the music business. Webb won the Marlboro Talent Roundup, has opened for Garth Brooks , George Strait , Randy Travis, George Jones, Charlie Rich, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Romantics, and many others. He has also released a video that aired on CMT and GAC. Webb has also had two singles on the Billboard charts. With this diversity of musical style, Webb has been a regular performer at the Hard Rock Café and several other venues on Beale Street in Memphis , TN. , in addition to performances at the Nashville Palace in Nashville , TN. He is a regular at venues along the Gulf Coast in Alabama and Florida . Webb also performs at clubs, festivals, fairs, weddings and private parties in Mississippi , Arkansas , Kentucky , Missouri and Tennessee . |
